· Learn how to insert line breaks (text wrapping breaks) in a Word document.
A line break forces the next text to the beginning of a new line without ending the current paragraph. To insert a line break:
· Type <Shift>+<Enter>.
· Click on the Layout tab.
· In the Page Setup group, click on the Breaks button.
· From the drop-down menu, click on Text Wrapping.
If the hide/show button is pushed in, line breaks will appear as a square arrow at the end of the line, like this:
